Potato Stuffed Dumplings

For this recipe you will need:
*** DOUGH:
4 cups flour
1 egg
3 tbsp sour cream
½ tsp soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup lukewarm water
*** STUFFING:
8 potatoes
2 onions
½ tsp salt
100 g butter
vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:

1. Cook the peeled potatoes in salted water and mash, adding half the butter.

2. Peel and chop the onions, then fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.

3. Add half of the fried onion to the mashed potato and mix. Stuffing is ready!

4. Sift the flour into a bowl and mix it with salt.

5. Mix soda with sour cream, add to the flour and mix. While stirring, pour water, kneading the soft dough.

6. Cover the dough with a towel and leave for 20 minutes.

7. Divide the dough into 4 lumps; roll each lump into a log with a diameter of 3 cm.

8. Cut the log into 1.5 cm slices and roll into round flat cakes.

9. Keep a stock of dough under a towel to prevent it from drying out.

10. Place a tablespoon of stuffing on the flat cake; pinch edges in the form of braid and form a crescent-shaped dumpling.
