Home-style Salted Bacon Slabs Recipe

For this recipe you will need:
Low-meat high-fat bacon
Salt
Garlic
Parsley

Preparation:

Cut the fresh low-meat high-fat bacon into large slabs (6” x 6” or 15 x 15 cm)


Roll each piece in coarse salt to coat completely.


Put the salted bacon slabs in a pan and refrigerate for 3 - 4 days.


Completely wash all the salt off the bacon slabs.


Prepare a mix of finely chopped parsley and crushed garlic.


Thoroughly mix the garlic mix with the bacon slabs.

Home-style Salted Bacon Slab

Store the prepared bacon slabs in a freezer.   

Before serving, scrape garlic mix off the slabs.

Serve Bacon Slabs sliced with vegetables.
