Beef liver smothered with button mushrooms

For this recipe you will need:
500 g beef liver
2 onions, peeled and chopped
5 button mushrooms, sliced
1 cup sour cream
1 cup water
salt
ground black pepper
vegetable oil

Preparation:

1. Rinse the beef liver, cut off the films and veins, and cut liver into small pieces.

2. Prepare the sauce.
    2.1. Fry the onions in vegetable oil, add the mushrooms and fry all together.

       2.2. Add the sour cream and water to the frying pan, mix with mushrooms, bring to the boil and remove from heat.

3. In a separate frying pan, fry the pieces of beef liver in vegetable oil.

4. Pour the sauce into the fried liver and smother; cook on low heat until liver is tender.

5. Season with salt and pepper at the end of the smothering.

6. Serve smothered beef liver with boiled potatoes and greens.
