Beef Pilaf Recipe

For this recipe you will need:
3 cups long grain rice
600 grams of beef, cut into medium-sized pieces
4 carrots, peeled and cut into long slices
4 onions, peeled and finely chopped
1 cup vegetable oil
Salt to taste
Parsley

Preparation:

1. Preheat a thick-walled pan with vegetable oil over high heat.

2. Add the meat and fry it on all sides over high heat until the excess liquid is evaporated.

3. Reduce the heat to medium, add the onion, stir, and fry for 5 minutes.

4. Add the carrot, stir, and fry for 2 - 3 minutes.

5. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and stew for 30 - 40 minutes.

6. Wash the rice in cold water several times.

7. Salt the meat, add 6 cups of hot water, and bring to a boil.

8. Add the rice to the boiling water, cover, and stew for 30 minutes.

9. Remove the pan from the heat, mix the pilaf, cover, and leave for 15 minutes.

10. Serve hot, garnished with greens.
