Lung & Potato Fritters Recipe

For this recipe you will need:
0.5 kg of calf lung
5 medium sized potatoes
1 onion, chopped
1 tbsp. sour cream
2 eggs
½ cup of light beer
Black pepper and salt to taste
5 tbsp. flour
Vegetable oil for frying

1. Wash the calves’ lung, cut into pieces and boil over low heat for 1.5 - 2 hours.

2. Grind the boiled lung.

3. Boil peeled potatoes, then mash.

4. Mix the ground lung with the mashed potatoes.

5. Add the onion, sour cream, eggs, beer, salt, and pepper.

Mix thoroughly until smooth.

6. While stirring, gradually add some flour until the consistency is thick, like sour cream.

7. Spoon the paste into a heated frying pan with oil.

8. Fry fritters on both sides until cooked.
