Fusilli pasta with pesto sauce and Parmesan shavings

For this recipe you will need:
10 oz (300 g) fusilli pasta
3 L water
6 tbsp pesto sauce
1 handful fresh basil leaves
salt to taste
3 ½ oz (100 g) Parmesan

Fusilli is a kind of pasta that is in the shape of a spiral.

Due to its shape, fusilli holds well any sauce on the surface.

In this recipe, we used solid fusilli dressed with pesto sauce and Parmesan shavings.


Preparation:

1. Prepare the fusilli pasta al dente and mix it with pesto sauce, as shown in the Penne Pasta with Basil Pesto recipe.

2. Shave the Parmesan and mix shavings with fusilli pasta.

3. Serve fusilli pasta with pesto sauce in hot bowls, decorating with fresh basil leaves.
