Ham & Mushrooms Spaghetti

For this recipe you will need:
200 g spaghetti
250 g cooked ham
3 mushrooms, sliced
100 g hard cheese, grated
3 egg whites
3 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 cup cream
olive oil for frying
½ glass dry white wine
1 tsp salt
greens

Preparation:

1. Slice cooked ham, and then cut slices into strips.

Mix ham with mushrooms and fry lightly in a little olive oil.
Pour the wine into the frying pan. Cook until the alcohol is evaporated (about 6 minutes).
Add the garlic, stir and remove the frying pan from the heat.

2. Mix egg whites with cream in a saucepan; while stirring, heat over low heat without boiling.

3. Pour the spaghetti in boiling water (2 liters), add salt and cook until spaghetti is al dente, then drain and add to the cream sauce in saucepan.

4. Pour smothered ham with mushrooms in saucepan, stir and continue to cook for a few minutes over a low heat.

5. Put spaghetti on a plate, sprinkle with grated cheese and garnish with chopped greens.
