Pasta Cake Recipe

For this recipe you will need:
Long pasta (maccheroncini, or ziti variety)
Vegetables of your choice (onions, potatoes, carrots, etc.), chopped
Smoked sausage, diced
Hard cheese, grated
1 tomato, sliced

Preparation:

1. Cook long pasta.


2. Lay a pasta layer from outer side to the center in a spiral formation, using a round high-sided pie pan.

Sprinkle grated cheese on top.


3. Lay pasta along the edge of the pie pan to create low wall.

Fill the formed "bowl" with vegetables, cover with tomato slices, and sprinkle with cheese.


4. Cover the stuffing with another spiraled pasta layer.

5. Place the pie pan in the oven at 200 °C (400°F) for 15 minutes.

6. Serve the cake after cheese is melted.
