Sausage Bun Pie Recipe

For this recipe you will need:
* * * * * DOUGH INGREDIENTS:
3 cups Flour
1 cup Milk
1 ½ tbsp. Sugar
4 Eggs
3 tbsp. Olive oil
½ tsp Dry Yeast
Pinch of salt
* * * * * FILLING INGREDIENTS:
2 Small Sausages
100 g Cheese
Sesame seeds for sprinkling

Preparation:

1. Warm the milk. Add the yeast, ½ tbsp. sugar, and ½ cup of flour. Knead the liquid dough and leave it in a warm place.

2. Put the salt, the rest of the sugar, and 3 eggs in a bowl with olive oil. Stir.

3. Whip the fourth egg. Add half of the whipped egg to a bowl with olive oil.

4. When the liquid dough has risen to twice its size, pour it into a bowl with olive oil.


5. Stirring constantly, gradually add the rest of the flour to the dough until it is smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a warm place until it rises again to twice its size.


6. Grate the cheese with a coarse grater.

7. Cut the sausages into cubes.

8. Divide the prepared dough into small parts. Flatten into cakes, put the stuffing on them, and roll them into balls.

9. Place the balls in a pie pan, beginning at the center.

10. Spread the second half of the whipped egg over the pie and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

11. Leave for 20 minutes, then bake at 180°C (360 oF) for 40 minutes.
