Tomato Spaghetti Seared Scallops Recipe

For this recipe you will need:
Sea scallops
dry spaghetti noodles
tomatoes
scallions
Chili pepper
salt

1. Make the spaghetti sauce.
- Chop one large tomato and fry it in a hot pan with oil, salt and chopped Chili pepper in 5 – 6 minutes,stirring constantly with wooden spatula.

2. Make spaghetti.
- Boil water in large pan.
- Add dry spaghetti noodles (not more than 100 grams for every liter of water). Do not cover the pan with a lid.
-Stir the contents of the pan with a high wooden spoon so the noodles do not stick together or to the bottom of the pan. Do this every minute or so. High-quality noodles cook in 10-12 minutes, but the cooking time depends on the kind of product. The only sure way to test the readiness of spaghetti is to taste it.
-Drain the finished spaghetti in a preheated colander, and place the colander with spaghetti on a pot, so that it drains the water.

3. Transfer spaghetti to the plate, pour tomato sauce, and add some chopped scallions.

4. Make quickly seared sea scallops as described here, and place three scallops to the plate onto the spaghetti.
