Fried Trout Recipe

For this recipe you will need:
Fresh trout
|
½ cup wheat flour for breading
|
Vegetable oil for frying
|
2 pinches of salt
|
Potato fries
|
Pickled beets cut into thin strips
|
Fresh carrots cut into thin strips
|
1 slice of lemon
|
Sprig of parsley
|
Garlic butter
|
Preparation:
1. Scale and gut the trout, remove the gills, wash under running water, and dry with a napkin.
2. Mix the flour and salt; pour onto a flat surface, and roll the trout in the flour.
3. Preheat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the trout over high heat for 1 minute on each side.
4. Reduce the heat to low and continue frying the trout until cooked (about 10 minutes on each side).
5. Serve with a complex garnish of potato fries, lemon slices, parsley, pickled beets, shredded fresh carrot, and garlic butter.
