There are lots of possibilities to combine salmon steaks with pesto sauce to any taste.
You may fry, roast and grill salmon steaks or half steaks simultaneously with pesto sauce, as well as serve pesto sauce when the salmon is already roasted.
Add the grated cheese and sliced lemon during the roasting if desired.

Salmon half steaks with pesto sauce recipe
Preparation:
1. Cut a salmon chunk into steaks and then half them along a backbone.
2. Line the baking tray with the foil; put the halves of salmon steaks skin down and spread the pesto sauce atop the steaks.

3. Sprinkle grated Parmesan over the pesto sauce.

4. Put a lemon slice over the Parmesan layer before roasting if desired.

5. Preheat the oven to 390 0F (200 0C) and roast salmon half steaks for 15 minutes.
6. Serve hot with fries and fresh dill.

Preparation:
1. Preheat the olive oil in frying pan, put the salmon steak and fry on medium heat for 7-9 minutes.
2. Turn over the steak, spread with pesto sauce and continue to fry for 7-9 minutes.
3. Shift the salmon steak to the plate, decorate with chives, halves of cherry tomatoes and serve.
